1.  How old are you?

I'm 26 years around the sun

2.  Where are you from?

I moved all over the United States, so it's difficult to pinpoint or claim where's home. I mean right now I rock for Brooklyn. As a kid I spent a lot of my time in Mississippi.

3.  What Got You Into Beatboxing?

Honestly for me it was Doug, Buff, and Biz Markie. I mean we were making music with buckets, washing machines, dryers, and our mouth. Anything we could use to make songs. In Mississippi we had heard most of the hip-hop coming from everywhere. I only got serious a few years ago and I spent at least 6 hours everyday for at least 1 year honing my craft and I'm still honing. It has to be the feeling of rocking a crowd that has really got me into the scene.

4.  How long have you've been Beatboxing for?

I started beatboxing when I was a kid, like 11 or 12. Most of my focus artistically was invested in other crafts though. Beatboxing was something I did to get in cyphers or right songs.

5.  What are your musical influences?

I'm influenced by anything that is great in quality. I love all types of music. I really love hip hop, trip-hop and spoken word.

6.  Does anyone else in your family beatbox?

I don't think so.

7.  Have You Ever Done Any Live Shows, Events, Concerts?

Oh numerous virtually countless shows. A lot of the beatboxing events I have done have been a part of  Beatboxer Entertainment.

8.  What type of equipment do you have?

I have two mics an SM-58 I got from BEATBOXING.com and a wireless Q7 I got from BBE at REMIX hotel. I record in studios a lot and at home on live4 but I need a better computer, I'd probably go with a mac and a dope sound card.

9.  How do you feel about the Beatboxing Movement?

I think it's in a really great place right now. It's moving forward. The scene is showing up on the radar here now which is great and inevitable. As long as we keep pushing the craft forward and rockin crowds we are bound to win and reserve a rightful place in hip hop and music history.

10.  Who is your favourite Beatboxer?

Really I can't say, I mean, there are so many incredible beatboxers. Each beatboxer has a skill that defines them.

11.  What other stuff (besides beatboxing) are you involved in?

I write lyrics for songs, my first and foremost passion is for the theatre, the stage, film, plays, acting. That's where I really come alive as an artist.

12.  Is there anyone you would love to work with?

There are lots of people I'd like to work with. Archangel and The Kernal are on the top of the list. Other than that Missy Elliot, Eminem, Alanis, Busta and Kelis would probably be among my top picks.

13.  Where's your favourite spot to beatbox? In the Shower?

My favourite place would have to be on stage or at house parties. Yet only when the sound system is thumpin hard.

14.  What's the best Beatboxing memory that you have?

Damn there are so many. I don't know man. It would probably be as a kid writing rhymes with my cousin Bobby, in Mississippi on my front porch.

15.  What advice do you give to someone who wants to get into Beatboxing?

Just explore sounds and always try to incorporate your work with something else. Be original and be cool. Take it seriously while having fun. Go perform live and break those mf mics!!!

16.  What's the best collaboration you've done with Beatboxing?

I have a project coming out with Kayah I think that's the best collab work. She is one of the most incredible artists out there.

17.  What are your future beatboxing goals?

I will release an album, tour the world, get some critical acclaim, and hopefully witness beatboxing break into new territory and watch these artists make the scene as large as turntablism. If I'm lucky people will remember me for breakin mics. break a mic!
